Orange Railway Station

The Railway Station was the point of arrival for migrant men sent from the Kelso holding camp in Bathurst to work in Orange. Many migrants' wives and children passed through the station when they visited their partners from the Parkes and Cowra camps and when they arrived for permanent settlement once the men had secured accommodation. Many migrations were sent to work on the railways.
